The Bears come out of hibernation in April for Barcelona’s annual fur-fest, BEARcelona. Hosted by the BEARcelona social and support network for gay men who don’t fit into the ‘traditional stereotype’ of gay society, the group has been running functions since 1999. Six days of fun and games are planned over the long weekend of ursine events including welcome cocktails, sauna sessions, happy hours and various parties including a pool party for those bears that like a good soaking. There’s also a tour of the cities many tourist sites, an official dinner and free transport to and from the venues.

Perhaps one of the most successful Circuit Parties in Europe in 2008, Matinee Group’s Circuit Festival returns in August 2009. Set in the amazing city of Barcelona, this party is spread over an entire week and covers everything from cultural events to water park parties and much more.
