The Bears come out of hibernation in April for Barcelona’s annual fur-fest, BEARcelona. Hosted by the BEARcelona social and support network for gay men who don’t fit into the ‘traditional stereotype’ of gay society, the group has been running functions since 1999. Six days of fun and games are planned over the long weekend of ursine events including welcome cocktails, sauna sessions, happy hours and various parties including a pool party for those bears that like a good soaking. There’s also a tour of the cities many tourist sites, an official dinner and free transport to and from the venues.

International Bear Pride Cologne 2008:  with this year’s theme “Country Bears”. Gala dinner, trips, Bear cake battle, boat party, saunas, parties and the Mr. Bear Germany contest. Cologne had already been a center for hairy guys in Germany long before ›Bears‹ became an international gay term. The parties, bars and even the street in front of the famous Cox Bar will be packed with Bears and Wolves during this weekend!

Wooffest takes place every year during Thanksgiving weekend in beautiful sunny Fort Lauderdale FL. During the weekend you can catch up with old friends and make new lasting friendships with people from all around the world as we all come together to raise funds for a good cause and remember a portion of all the proceeds from the whole weekend are given to non profit agencies which will benefit suicide prevention.

This is an international Bears weekend in Rome with disco, bears sauna, tours to visit ancient Rome, happy hour promotions, dinners and other activities.

The Annual Bear Voyage leaves from Ft. Lauderdale  and stops off at the Bahamas, St Thomas, Antigua, Barbados, St.Lucia, St.Kitts and Nevis… a fantastic cruise aboard an Emerald Cruise ship.
